YES. I hate this too. Lately, I've also seen a big uptick in the number of comments on my posts simply asking for a follow. Often with many exclamation marks!!! And no indication that they even read my post. I never follow them!

But if someone writes insightful or even just very kind comments, I'll likely check out their profile. I will do it out of curiosity to see what they are about. I just don't want to be told to!
