This was good. What I've come to realize is that "wasted" time, though unplanned and unwanted, is often necessary to get where we want to go. I trashed a piece I spent a day writing recently, but it led to a better end result for another piece the following day. So I'm learning to more quickly more on from experiences like this and *trying* to see them as helpful. (Sometimes easier said than done!)
