My husband has a chair in the corner of the bedroom where his pile grows and morphs. Twice on his birthday I photographed it and shared it on Facebook with the heading, "Happy Birthday! I hope this is the year you learn to use a hamper." (I have since given up.) A pile is fine as long as genuinely dirty clothes aren't mixed in. I keep my "to wear again" clothes on the side of the tub we never use. We all have to have our space!
