Lots of good reasons, as you shared! For me, it's the (nearly) instant gratification Medium can provide. Getting small encouragements in the form of claps, comments, and followers so quickly after posting a piece really helps when you are just starting out. So different than my experience in writing my own blog, where I'd be lucky to get 25 readers!
