I moved back home with my parents after grad school for about 8 months. I was 26. The memory of this time is one I cherish. I'm glad I had the opportunity, especially since I lost my dad only 4 years later. A clear reminder to take your time with loved ones while you can. I plan to offer my girls the same kind of safe landing spot if they need to catch their breath or reorientate themselves in their 20s too.
