I agree, it's really hard not to be overwhelmingly sad and hopeless, but we can't give up. The US rejoining the Paris Accord and aiming for carbon neutral status by 2050 is a good thing and we must build on that and inspire individual, corporate and governmental action. I'd like to have grandchildren too, one day. I think one reason why people turn a blind eye or don't respond is because they feel so insignificant in the face of so many problems. It feels like too much to even comprehend it.
