Getting a CSA share or having a garden helps, but a more broad-based education is needed. I used to teach (plant-based) cooking classes, so I am 100% in on this! I started early on telling me kids that not all "food" sold in grocery stores is actually food. They occasionally complain about living in an "ingredient house," but their palates are much more sophisticated and diverse than many (or most) of their peers.
